Side: All Might
Inside the U.A. conference room, the teachers were holding a meeting with Naomasa Tsukauchi.
They were discussing Shigaraki and Kurogiri.
Then the topic turned to Nomu and the modified humans.
"And as for the one called Nomu, we’ve investigated him, but I think we’ll need to dig deeper before we can make any progress."
Tsukauchi paused for a moment before continuing.
"And the investigation into the monsters Shigaraki brought out... no, the people has already been completed."
"So what were they?"
"They were... living humans."
The people in the conference room were shocked.
"Living humans, you say?! Tsukauchi!"
"Yes... when we investigated several of the living ones, we found that they were people who had recently gone missing."
"What!?"
The teachers were all stunned.
"And there are traces that their brains were tampered with. It seems they were driven into a state of confusion... a disturbed mental state, and then used to attack the students."
The teachers fell silent, deep in thought.
"It would be better not to tell the students about this."
"Yes..."
Principal Nezu spoke to Tsukauchi.
"For now, let’s keep this secret from everyone except a few Heroes."
"Yes."
And so the meeting came to an end.

Side: Mahito
Mahito was currently at the U.A. Sports Festival.
"Oh! It’s starting!"
Mahito had been wandering through the festival, turning people into modified humans.
On the TV, the oath declaration was being broadcast.
"I swear I’ll take first place."
Bakugo was making his declaration.
"He really is an interesting kid~ I wonder what kind of face Midoriya would make if I changed him right in front of that boy~"
Humming to himself, Mahito kept gathering modified humans.
Time passed like that.
"Wow, time really flew by~"
That’s enough. I’ve made several Quirk hybrids already, so I guess this should be fine~
Just then, Iida was running past at high speed.
Mahito watched him go.
I thought of something good~
Mahito followed Iida.
And arrived at the hospital.
There, Iida was screaming.
"Brotherrrrrrr!!!"
Mahito waited for Iida to come back out.
When Iida finally emerged, Mahito approached him.
"Hello, boy. You’re one of the kids from the U.A. Sports Festival, right~"
"Ah... hello."
"Something wrong?"
Iida hesitated, then told Mahito everything.
"My brother was attacked by a villain and can’t use his legs anymore, so he says he can’t be a Hero anymore..."
Mahito pretended to think, then said to Iida,
"Then... should I fix your brother’s legs?"
Iida’s eyes sparkled.
"Really?"
"Of course~"
Iida said through tears,
"Please... please save my brother!!"
"Sure~"
And so we entered Iida’s brother’s hospital room.
Iida’s brother was asleep.
"Please."
"Sure~"
Mahito placed his hand on Iida’s brother’s body.
"[Idle Transfiguration]."
Iida’s brother’s body gradually healed.
"Ah... ah...!"
Iida collapsed to the floor and began crying.
"Thank you... thank you."
"No problem~"
And then we went outside.
"I don’t know how I’ll ever repay this favor..."
"Don’t worry about it~"
Then I left the hospital.
Mahito smiled as he thought to himself.
Midoriya, I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of reaction you’ll have when your friend changes right in front of you.
And then Mahito went to Hosu City.
When will he come~
I kept waiting.
Then I spotted Iida patrolling here.
Finally, he’s here~
And then Mahito thought of something else.
"Right! If I turn everyone on the train Midoriya rides into modified humans, that’d be fun~"
So he took the Shinkansen and went to the station where Midoriya would board.
"When will he come~"
For several days, I waited inside the station for Midoriya to arrive.
And then I spotted Gran Torino and Midoriya.
Finally, he’s here~
I boarded the car behind the one Midoriya was in.
It was one stop before arriving in Hosu City.
"Then shall we begin~"
Mahito touched the passengers and turned them into modified humans.
"[Idle Transfiguration]."
He turned every car except the one Midoriya was in into modified humans.
Of course, there were Heroes among them too, but he turned those Heroes into modified humans as well.
The people screamed.
Kyaaaaaaa!!!!!
They fled from the modified humans into the car ahead.
Then a loud noise rang out from the front, and the train stopped.
Looks like Nomu showed up~
"Then I should try too~"
Mahito got off the train and headed toward where Iida was.
