Dabi came outside and vomited.
"Uegh, bleghhh!!"
The modified human behind Dabi raised a hand.
Dabi looked irritated, slapped the modified human’s hand away, and burned it with flames.

"Don’t touch me!!!"
The modified human used its Quirk to extinguish the fire and walked toward Dabi as it spoke.
"S-sorry... To...uya..."
"Don’t act like my mother now!!"
Dabi kept burning the modified human.
But the modified human kept using its Quirk to put out the flames as it said to Dabi,
"S-sorry... Tou...ya... Sorry..."
"It’s too late for that now... You couldn’t even find me back then, and now you think..."
The modified human was crying as it spoke.
"S-sorry... Tou...ya... I... couldn’t... find... you... then... s-sorry... Tou...ya... sorry..."
Dabi’s heart wavered too. Unable to hold back his emotions, he shed tears and said to the modified human,
"I’m the one who should be sorry. I’m sorry for saying such horrible things back then... Mother."
The modified human cried even harder and hugged Dabi.
Dabi did not push it away.

Mahito was watching from the rooftop of a building.
'Hmm... If things go well, Dabi might show me a really nice expression too~'
Mahito smiled and headed toward Dabi.
"Ah! There you are~"
Mahito walked up to the modified human.
Dabi wiped his tears and said to Mahito,
"What is it...?"
"Well, this modified human went out on its own, so..."
As he said that, Mahito studied the modified human closely.
"I see. Since I was careful with the modifications, its sense of self is still intact?"
"...."
Dabi watched Mahito.
"Hmm~ Should I modify it one more time and erase that self?"
"What?"
"Huh? What’s wrong?"
Dabi said, flustered,

"Then do it to another modified human."

Then Dabi disappeared into the city to catch a human.

Mahito laughed as he watched the place where Dabi had vanished.
Then, a week later.
Twice, Toga, and Mahito went to the Shie Hassaikai.
Chisaki was there to greet them.

Behind him were his subordinates and Eri.
Chisaki led them inside.
"Follow me."
They followed Chisaki.
There was a commotion upstairs.

"I told you already... the Shie Hassaikai is finished."
"As long as the boss and I are here, the Hassaikai won’t die. Most of the members are on the boss’s side, so they won’t follow me. I’m the one who respects the boss’s will more than anyone."
Then Chisaki took something out and showed it to them as he spoke.

Then Mahito, Twice, and Toga answered.
