Bakugo was fuming outside the hospital after Mahito slipped away from him.
"Calm down... Bakugo..."
"How am I supposed to calm down?!"
Shoto spoke to Bakugo in a slightly irritated tone.
"Shut up and stay quiet, Bakugo!"
"What!!"
Bakugo glared at Shoto, ready to snap at him, but Shoto was on the verge of losing it too.
Seeing that, Bakugo vented his anger in the opposite direction from Shoto.
"Damn it!!"
Endeavor came out after investigating the hospital.
"Hey, damn father, what was it like inside...?"
Endeavor answered quietly.
"...Total annihilation."
His face twisted as he spoke.
"The police, the heroes, the hospital staff, and the patients were all taken out by Mahito."
Bakugo said,
"What are we supposed to do...?"
Endeavor thought for a moment, then spoke to Shoto and Bakugo.
"Shoto, Bakugo. Do you know about the Shie Hassaikai...?"
"The Shie Hassaikai?"
"Yeah. Those thugs have been making noise lately."
Bakugo asked Endeavor,
"What does that have to do with us?"
"The Shie Hassaikai and the League of Villains have joined forces."
"What!!"
"That’s why Night Eye’s agency sent a team-up request."
"Night Eye’s agency...? That’s where Deku went!!"
"I want you two to help Night Eye."
Bakugo refused.
"No way. I’m not turning my attention to anything like that until I catch that ragged bastard!"
"Mahito might show up there."
"How do you know that?"
"If they’ve joined forces, then if the Shie Hassaikai is in danger, he’ll probably appear. So I want you to catch Mahito if he shows up there."
Bakugo asked Endeavor,
"What are you going to do?"
"I’m... going to keep chasing the League of Villains."

"While I’m after the League of Villains, I want you two to catch Mahito if he appears at the Shie Hassaikai."

And so Bakugo and Shoto decided to accept Night Eye’s team-up request.

Mahito had been carried back by Endeavor’s flames and returned just like that.
Toga walked up to Mahito.
"Mahito, what did you do to come back looking that roasted?"
"Ah, this? Endeavor got me."
"Endeavor?"
"Yep! I raided the hospital, and then Endeavor showed up~"
Shigaraki said to Mahito,
"So... you came back fully charged...?"
Mahito smiled and said,
"Yep! I turned about 3,000 people into modified humans! And look at this!!"
Mahito pulled out a special modified human and showed it to them.

Mahito gave the modified human an order.
"Use your Quirk and attack that spot."
The modified human froze the target area solid.
"How is it? Pretty amazing, right!"
"That’s no different from a Nomu..."
"It is different! Normal modified humans can’t use Quirks, but this modified human can!!"

"And there’s another reason this one’s special."
"What is it...?"
"The human used to make this modified human was Endeavor’s wife, Todoroki Rei!"
Dabi flinched slightly.
Dabi stood up and walked over to the modified human.
"This thing, huh..."
As Dabi approached, the modified human hugged him.

Dabi jumped back in surprise.

Dabi narrowed his eyes.
Mahito thought about the modified human’s behavior and realized the reason.
"Ah! I get it now~"
Shigaraki asked Mahito,
"What is it...?"
"Dabi is Todoroki Rei’s son, so this one must have instinctively tried to comfort her son too~"
"Comfort?"
Dabi shut his mouth and walked outside.
"Well... if you think about him running away from home, the answer was obvious."
We watched Dabi as he stood there like that.
