I explained the plan to Yaoyorozu and Mineta.
After hearing it, they looked at me with doubtful and uneasy expressions, but in the end, they agreed.
Once the explanation was over, I activated [Sense].
I could see Kirishima and Sero coming up from below, and before they noticed me, I slipped out through the window and entered the window of the floor beneath us.
After confirming they still hadn’t arrived, I hid behind a pillar and waited for them to come.
Some time passed, and they came up to this floor. I deliberately made a sound, then began moving without a sound. They heard it, but they couldn’t find me.
A person’s field of vision is surprisingly narrow. Especially people who are tense like them...
I slowly and quietly approached Sero, pulled him behind the pillar where I was hiding, covered his nose and mouth with my right hand, and used my other arm to strangle his neck.
Covering his nose and mouth was to keep him from making a sound and to cut off his oxygen, while pressure on the carotid artery in his neck knocked him unconscious.
I carefully set the unconscious Sero against the pillar and focused on Kirishima.
Then Kirishima started coming this way. He must have noticed the part I hadn’t managed to hide behind the pillar.
I hid behind the pillar so he wouldn’t see me, then circled around and stood behind Kirishima. After that, I called out to him.
He turned around, and I kicked his abdomen with a side kick. But something felt wrong.
"Why didn’t he go down?"
I had kicked with full force, and it had landed squarely in his stomach. I figured he had endured it with his Quirk, so I raised my guard and drew the dagger on my back in reverse grip, ready for combat.

Side: Kirishima Eijiro
"What kind of power was that kick?! Even hardening on the spot couldn’t stop that much force?"
"Hardening."
When I tensed my body, the hardness of any part of it increased and sharpened.
Even after using my Quirk to reduce the impact, it felt like my insides were about to burst. I stood up and kept my guard up against him.
The Villain in front of me had pulled a dagger from his back and looked ready to fight at any moment.
Sorano usually gave off an unmotivated impression. But what about now?
He looked like a beast preparing to hunt, with prey right in front of him. I exhaled and brought my fists together, raising my guard.
"So you really are the top scorer in the entrance exam. But I’m not going down that easy! Let’s fight fair and square like men!"
At this point, the only thing filling the space was the sound of metal.
Kirishima kept throwing punches, and I kept deflecting them with my dagger and countering.
I would deflect, strike his jaw with an elbow, then sweep the back of his knee with a left kick, but he wouldn’t fall and would immediately throw another punch. His toughness was no joke. Then I shifted my gaze to Sero.
He was stuck to the pillar by a purple substance and couldn’t move even after waking up. And beside Sero, I could see Mineta.
"So he really did follow the plan."

Side: Mineta Minoru
"While I draw their attention, Mineta will use his Quirk to block the Hero team’s movements, and Yaoyorozu will set traps in case the enemy comes this way."
The plan that guy laid out was to draw attention. But by the time I reached this floor, Sero was already unconscious. I nearly wet myself from the shock, but it looked like I might not get another chance like this, so I used my Quirk to restrain him. Then I turned my attention to Sorano.
"What the hell is that guy? He’s insanely strong?! Is that really a Quirkless guy?"
Sorano was toying with Kirishima, deflecting or dodging his attacks with the dagger in his left hand and striking back. Kirishima was breathing hard, while Sorano didn’t look tired at all.
"What the hell is he?"

"He’s holding up pretty well."
Even though I was the one being beaten one-sidedly, he still hadn’t gone down. His toughness was probably the best in the class.
"Though I’m no different."
The parts of Kirishima’s skin I had attacked were scraped and showed cut marks. He looked exhausted, but his momentum hadn’t broken. I held my dagger and glared at him, and Kirishima glared back at me, leaving a fixed distance between us. The atmosphere was tense, but one sound blew the tension away.
"Match over!! Villain team WINS!!!!!!!!!!!"
I reacted to the announcement by putting my dagger back in its sheath and walking over to Kirishima.
"Are you all right?"
"Yeah. It hurts, but I’m not seriously hurt. Still, you really were the top scorer in the entrance exam. You were crazy strong. But next time, I won’t lose!!"
"Yes."
Kirishima said he wouldn’t lose next time, his words full of resolve, and held out a hand for a handshake. I took his hand and answered, then returned to the monitoring room.
"Hey~~~ Can you take this off for me? ㅠㅠ"
"Ah."

"This time, the MVP is Sorano boy!! Does anyone know why?!"
"Yes. Sorano proposed and carried out this plan. Sorano subdued Sero and was engaged in close combat with Kirishima. Meanwhile, following the plan, I set traps, and Mineta used his Quirk to prevent the Hero team from regrouping. For those reasons, Sorano is the MVP this time."
All Might praised Yaoyorozu while sweating just as much as before. After class ended, the others headed to a fast-food restaurant for a debriefing, and I went to the bookstore where I worked my part-time job.
"Hmm, if you have something like that, you could take the day off today, you know?"
"What are you talking about, manager?"
Minori was telling me to skip work and join the debriefing. Even though she was short on help, she still worried about others, and for some reason that made me start to feel concerned.
"Still, I’m glad, Taka-kun, aren’t I?"
"About what?"
I still didn’t understand what Minori meant, so I asked again.
"Well, your expression has softened lately. I can even see the dimple in your cheek now."
I touched my cheek with my hand and checked my expression.
It didn’t seem like anything had changed, but did I really look that way to other people?
With that thought, another busy day came to an end.
