“What is your name, Vasto Lorde?”
“Lucifer La El.”
“A fine name. Tell me, have you come to seek a place as my subordinate?”
Though we were both Vasto Lorde, Baraggan spoke as if he already considered me beneath him. That suffocating arrogance—it was exactly what you’d expect from the man known as Baraggan Louisenbairn.
“I’m sorry to disappoint, but I came here to kill you.”
“What? Hahahaha!”
“How dare you speak that way to Lord Baraggan!”
Baraggan burst into a laughter so thunderous the entire palace seemed to tremble. In contrast to the King’s amusement, his Adjuchas minions were bristling with rage. I was deep within enemy territory, declaring my intent to murder their sovereign. It would have been more surprising if they hadn't reacted with fury.
“Hahahaha! Excellent. Truly entertaining! I haven't met a fellow like you in ages.”
Baraggan was laughing with genuine delight. I had a pretty good idea why. From the moment Baraggan evolved into a Vasto Lorde and declared himself the Great Emperor of Hueco Mundo, his world had changed. The constant struggles for survival he faced as an Adjuchas were gone, replaced by a circle of loyal subjects and a stagnant peace. He had spent centuries buried in the hollow loneliness and boredom that comes from having no equal to challenge him. That was why he could laugh at an assassin. It was, in a word, the arrogance of a King.
“I suppose I should start by clearing out the fruit flies buzzing around you.”
“You! What are you doing? Kill the intruder immediately!”
“Graaaah! Die!”
At the command of a female Adjuchas standing at the foot of the throne, the entire swarm of Hollows lunged at me simultaneously. It was a pitiful sight—watching fools charge headlong into their own demise.
“Allow me to grant you... Death.”
I unleashed the power of Death upon the horde. One Adjuchas found its body suddenly lacerated into ribbons; another was consumed by spontaneous combustion; yet another was frozen solid into a statue of black ice. Each one met a different end, but they were all united in the finality of their cessation.
“Did you see that? O King of Hueco Mundo.”
Having cleared out the room in a single breath, I looked up at Baraggan, who was still perched on his throne. He leaned back, letting go of his chin-resting pose, and stood up.
“I saw it well. Quite a unique ability you have there.”
Despite seeing his personal guards slaughtered before his eyes, Baraggan didn't show a flicker of anger or grief. He remained haughty, though the way his Reiatsu began to surge in the air signaled that he was preparing for a real fight.
“Let’s see if that power can entertain a King. Come, Lucifer La El.”
“Entertain you? I assume that confidence comes from your power over Senescence?”
“Oho. You even know the nature of my power, yet you still came to face me?”
“Of course. It’s common sense to understand the target you intend to kill.”
“You truly are a delight. Then try to survive this! Behold the power that erodes all things into nothingness!”
Baraggan immediately launched an attack utilizing Senescence. Much like my own power, he infused his Reiatsu with the concept of aging. As I dodged his strike, the ground where I had stood moments ago aged millions of years in an instant, crumbling into gray dust.
“Hahahaha! You cannot kill me by merely running away! Hahahaha!”
Baraggan laughed like a madman, swinging his power around with abandon. With every gesture, his spiritual pressure turned anything it touched into withered ruin. Senescence—aging is indeed one of the most inevitable forms of death. All life has a span, and aging is the path that leads to the end of that span.
“Senescence is the absolute power!”
“Perhaps. But...”
No matter how powerful Senescence is... in the end, it is merely the road one travels toward the destination.
“I am the King! I am a God! Nothing can stand before me and my power of Senescence!”
“That’s what I’m telling you. Senescence is just the path to the end. It isn’t Death itself.”
“What? Impossible!”
I cloaked my body in the raw concept of Death and walked straight through Baraggan’s aura of aging. As expected, his Senescence couldn't touch me. You cannot age what is already the manifestation of the end. Senescence is the process; Death is the result. This applies to every other Espada as well. Any attack based on an 'Aspect of Death' is meaningless before the one who represents Death itself.
“Did you call it an absolute power? You’re mistaken. Not Senescence, but Death—Death is the only true, absolute power!”
“AAAAAAAGH!”
I walked through his failing aura and grabbed Baraggan by the head, immediately activating Life Absorption. Baraggan let out a gut-wrenching scream as his spiritual energy and very essence were forcibly siphoned into me. Starting from his feet, the King’s body began to disintegrate into sand.
“I... I am the King... the God of Hueco Mundo...!”
“Before Death, everything is meaningless.”
Leaving those as his final words, Baraggan Louisenbairn crumbled into dust and vanished. It was the same end shared by all Hollows. No matter if he was the Emperor, nothing remained once the curtain of Death fell.
“Rest in peace. Former King of Hueco Mundo.”
That was my final eulogy for the man who once ruled the white sands.

Another post! Post! Post!
The promised back-to-back update!
By the way, someone mentioned before that Arrancars are mutants. That's not quite right. It's more accurate to call them an evolved existence. The proof is Coyote Starrk. Starrk became an Arrancar on his own without the Hogyoku. If you look at the series, Aizen visits Starrk after he's already achieved his Arrancar form and asks him to join. If you disagree, go check again; they speak like it's their first time meeting. Whether Aizen used the Hogyoku's power from afar or not is up for debate, but in my view, Starrk achieved Arrancar status by himself.
You know why I'm mentioning this, right? Kehehehehe.
