"So... a student from the General Course... issued a declaration of war... is that what you are saying?"
"Ahaha... yes. They told us not to get too full of ourselves," Midoriya replied with a nervous laugh.
I let out a heavy sigh. I had suspected as much, but to think the General Course students would actually initiate a challenge like that.
"To think they consider this a game... when some of my students were nearly killed by Villains... they have no grasp of reality."
I glanced at Katsuki, who flinched slightly at my tone. I looked back at Midoriya, Katsuki, and Shoko, who had all visited the faculty room. Himiko and Momo were there as well, waiting for me to finish work so we could walk home together.
"During the Sports Festival... show them the weight of their ignorance."
I wanted them to thoroughly crush the pride of those parasites who treated survival as a "hidden mission" they had somehow missed out on.
"Do not... leave room for doubt. Ensure they never look down upon you again."
"Hey, Michikatsu! Stop teaching the kids such ominous things!" Aizawa shouted from his desk behind me. I ignored him.
"By the way... why are Bakugo and Todoroki here?" I asked. I hadn't summoned them.
"I wanted to train separately, but... I didn't have a good place for it," Katsuki muttered.
"Same here..." Shoko added.
I noticed a faint spark of rivalry between them as they glared at each other.
"Very well. You may use... the training hall at our estate."
Katsuki and Shoko’s faces turned bright red at the mention of my home. I wonder why.
The Tsugikuni Estate
"""Excuse us."""
When we arrived with the group, we first went to greet my parents. They welcomed the newcomers with open arms.
"Welcome! Now, Michikatsu, are these the students you mentioned?"
"Yes... Father."
"Hmm..." My father’s gaze shifted toward Katsuki and Shoko. He smiled warmly at them. "Nice to meet you. Michikatsu is always in your care. I am the current Head of the Tsugikuni house... though really, I’m just the father of two sons. You can call me Father. It seems my boy has brought home even more lovely candidates for daughters-in-law."
"Eh?! I—um... Yes... Father..." they both stammered, blushing furiously.
"Father... Katsuki and Shoko... are simply my disciples."
At my blunt clarification, they both looked incredibly disappointed. Why?
"Oh, Michikatsu! You shouldn't be so cold," my mother chided, tapping my shoulder. She walked over to the two girls to comfort them. "Our Michikatsu is a bit rigid, isn't he? My apologies, dears."
Their expressions brightened immediately. Truly, I cannot fathom the hearts of women.
"Michikatsu."
"Yes... Father."
"You really need to work on your intuition."
That hurt.
"Father! Mother! We have returned!" Momo chirped.
"Father~ Mother~" Himiko added.
"Momo! Himiko! Welcome back!"
The two girls greeted my parents. Himiko lunged into their arms, acting as a pampered daughter. Watching her flourish under their affection—having finally learned how to be spoiled—was heartwarming.
"Um... things are quite lively here," Midoriya muttered, looking a bit out of place.
To summarize: the training was a success.
Yoriichi took a liking to Midoriya’s honest and diligent nature and decided to teach him Sun Breathing. His talent for mimicry was staggering; just seeing the movements once allowed him to replicate them with frightening accuracy. If he continues at this rate, he’ll be a monster by the time the training camp rolls around.
"Haah... haah..."
"Phew... phew..."
On the other side of the hall, Katsuki and Shoko were reviewing their Breathing forms. Flame Breathing didn't quite suit Katsuki’s temperament, so she was already experimenting with arranging it into her own unique style.
"Bakugo."
"Sensei?"
"We are not at school... you may address me casually."
"Ah... okay... Michikatsu."
Her face lit up with a radiant smile at my permission. Why is she so cute all of a sudden?
"Um... can I... call you that too?" Shoko asked.
"As you wish, Todoroki."
"Shoko. Call me... Shoko."
"Then call me by my name too! Katsuki!"
The two of them began a subtle tug-of-war over my attention.
"Michikatsu... sometimes, you truly are... oblivious to your surroundings," Momo sighed.
"Momo-chan is right. Your lack of social intuition is quite impressive in its own way," Himiko added.
Again, that hurts.
"We shall finish for today... Midoriya, Katsuki, Shoko... you shall stay the night. It is already late."
"I agree, Brother," Yoriichi said. "If it is alright, I would like to conduct night training with Midoriya-san."
I was surprised. To see Yoriichi take such an active interest in teaching was rare. He looked genuinely motivated. I patted his head, approving of his decision.
"Midoriya... and you?"
"Please, guide me!" Midoriya bowed to Yoriichi, his eyes blazing with determination.
"Of course, Midoriya-san."
Feeling they would become good friends, I told them not to overdo it and led the others toward the baths. Since Katsuki was now a girl, she had to go to the women’s bath. Watching her look around in a panic, still unadjusted to her new reality, made me offer a silent, bitter smile.
"Uuuu..."
Katsuki was in a bind. She had to enter the bath with Momo, Himiko, and Shoko. Though she had seen her own new body in the mirror, she had never seen other girls naked. Despite having stripped off her clothes, she stood frozen, hesitant to step into the water.
"My, Bakugo-san. Are you perhaps... shy?" Momo teased with a playful smile. Katsuki turned bright red, covering her chest and lap with her hands.
"Katsuki-chan is so cute!~" Himiko chirped.
She lunged from behind and began playfully teasing Katsuki, blowing into her ear.
"Hyaaah!"
"Hehe~ what a cute voice you have, Katsuki-chan."
"S-Stop it... it's embarrassing! (/////////)"
Katsuki was almost in tears. Himiko seemed to be enjoying herself a bit too much, moving to lick Katsuki’s ear until Shoko stoically stepped in, pulling Himiko away.
"Stop. You’re making her uncomfortable."
"Hehe! Sorry! Katsuki-chan was just too cute!"
After the apology, they finally all entered the hot spring. As they talked, they began to use first names and the atmosphere relaxed, though Katsuki still felt a bit intimidated by Momo and Himiko.
"Um... I wanted to say... I’m sorry. For everything before," Katsuki whispered.
Momo and Himiko took her hands, telling her it was fine and that they looked forward to being friends. Katsuki’s expression finally softened.
"By the way, Katsuki-san... you like Michikatsu, don't you?" Momo asked directly.
Katsuki tensed, but found the courage to nod. "Yeah... I love Michikatsu. He’s... my hero."
As she blushed, Momo and Himiko nodded as if they had expected it. Shoko, surprisingly, spoke up in agreement.
"I understand... Michikatsu is my hero as well."
The other three looked at her in surprise.
"My father is Endeavor, the No. 2 Hero. I assume you know," Shoko said flatly. They nodded. "A Villain once tried to kidnap me to get revenge on my father. They intended to kill me. That was when... Michikatsu saved me. I fell for him at first sight... (////////)"
Usually, Heroes' families are kept secret, but that doesn't mean they are invulnerable. When Shoko was fourteen, she had been targeted. Michikatsu had arrived like a prince on a white horse—well, a prince who decapitated a villain and ended up drenched in blood. To anyone else, he might have looked like a monster, but to Shoko, it was the peak of "darkly cool" charisma.
"I understand that feeling completely!" Momo said, clutching Shoko’s hands. Having also been rescued from a kidnapping, she empathized deeply.
"So, both of you love my Brother?" Himiko asked.
""Yes...""
"Then... why don't you just confess to him?"
""Eh?""
Both girls stared at Himiko, wondering if they had heard correctly.
