[Title: An Explanation of Dual Classes (Includes a Three-Line Summary)]
There have been a lot of newbies craving dual classes lately, so I thought I’d write this.
This is for all you new Megall idiots who want to use swords and magic at the same time.
Before I explain, let me say this.
(A GIF of a frog glaring.)
Dual classes are fucking stupid.
Huh? But I’m a dual-class mechanic and blacksmith?
You fucking Megall idiot, if you’re in a production class, go make money and play tycoon.
I don’t care whether you climb pipes to save princesses or make mythic-grade items.
I’m talking about spellswords. (Though I don’t even know if there’s actually an advanced class called spellsword.)
A spellsword… wielding a sword in one hand and magic in the other, wrapping their blade in fire and lightning… It does look cool, right?
In every game, dual classes are ridiculously overpowered, and they’re rare classes too, so it’s only natural to want one.
I wanted one badly too, and it made my eyes go wild in the early game.
But why am I calling them stupid?
Let me explain.
According to this game’s lore, you cannot form a Circle and a dantian (mana core) at the same time.
Some of you will ask why, but please go ask the developers.
I’m curious too, fuck…
It’s lore the in-game instructors tell you from the start.
If you have a Circle, you can’t form a dantian.
The reverse is true as well, something about the direction of the circuits toward the heart.
Take the Luperideon Style—namely, the Imperial Breathing Method—as an example.
The moment you learn the Imperial Breathing Method skill, you become unable to create the skill called Circle.
The same goes for going to the Eastern Continent and learning some kind of divine art.
So why is this a problem?
Because the proficiency of one side’s skills levels up like absolute shit.
If you go down the mage track, you’ll see that your frontline skills level up like absolute shit.
(An image of a level 82 mage-class character with level 10 Basic Swordsmanship.)
(An image of a level 81 warrior-class character with level 10 Fireball.)
The upper one is a mage raising sword proficiency by using a sword, while the lower one is a swordsman raising Fireball proficiency by using magic.
Huh? How do you do that? So dual classes are possible? That’s not the point.
Normally, you should advance to Intermediate Swordsmanship, but it stops at level 10 Basic Swordsmanship.
And instead of Fireball, it should say Fire Magic. Like this…
(An image of the Fire Magic skill UI.)
Do you think a level 82 mage character can get any real power out of Basic Swordsmanship?
And what is a level 81 warrior character supposed to do with Fireball?
You may be able to use them, but they aren’t efficient.
Mages have low Strength, which is the problem, while warriors burn through MP in huge chunks, which is the problem.
They’re useless. Completely useless…
Still, for those of you who want to try it, I’ll explain how.
First, are you a mage? Then equip a sword and tape down your left mouse button.
Set up a training dummy and hit it for around 600 hours. That should get you to level 10 Basic Swordsmanship.
In real time, lol.
The cost of a training dummy? Call up those production-class tycoon players on another account and ask them for money, lol.
Or…
(Link: How to use a Black Slime as a training dummy.)
Use this instead.
But if you stay in combat with Lord Black Slime for longer than five minutes, it will always instantly kill the player, so use a timer or figure it out yourself.
Now it’s the warriors’ turn.
You think it’ll be easy for you guys?
Once you accept the Magic Tower Lord quest unlocked at level 80 and get 100% completion on the Academy guide, you receive a skill book.
Using the skill book [Miracle Worker] lets you use the spells available to a 1st Circle mage.
But this book sells for 2,000 gold coins at the shop.
You can get several times that amount selling it on the black market.
Anyway, you must personally acquire and learn even 1st Circle magic.
Mages get a whole stream of spells when they learn Fire Magic, right?
Warriors have to grind and learn every single skill one by one.
Burning your time away for measly 1st Circle skills.
You understand now, right?
Spend that time farming essence instead, or go to the Eastern Continent and search for hidden masters.
Don’t think about reaching level 80 without taking a class and searching for a hidden class.
You’d have to do grunt work on the lower floors, but the level lock means you won’t be able to level up anyway, lol.
And once you go higher, you won’t deal any damage without a class.
Three-line summary
1. You can’t create a Circle and a mana core simultaneously.
2. Skills from another class are inefficient.
3. Dual classes are an illusion. (Except production classes.)
└ Upvote for effort.
└ Upvote for the guide.
└ You just shattered my dream…
└└ No, I saved you from wasting your life.
└└ Gasp! Thx thx.
└└ Yeah, enjoy Megall.
└ Then wouldn’t a swordsman learning magic have a higher ceiling?
└└ It’s basically a support option, but technically, yes. If you put in the effort, you can learn a more varied range of magic.
└ Is there a guide for the Magic Tower Lord quest?
└└ (Link.)
└└ Thx thx.
└└ Ah, fuck, spoilers. Why does the granddaughter die?
└└? You bitch even when someone tells you?

I could feel something in my heart.
A circle, coiled up and spinning vigorously.
And I could see…
The Magic Tower Lord clutching the back of her neck, her eyes rolled back.
"S-Someone, call someone!"
I had seen the Transmigrant title, so I knew it was an incredible thing.
But I hadn’t known it was enough to make her clutch her neck and faint.
I grabbed the Magic Tower Lord by the shoulders and shook her urgently.
"Grandma! Pull yourself together!"
"Gurgle…"
F-foam? Deciding this wouldn’t do, I slung the Magic Tower Lord over my back and headed for the elevator.
"Damn it! What is this… Grandma! Wake up!"
Once I stepped into the elevator, a dome enclosed us, and I pressed the bottommost button.
This should take us to the first floor or something.
Whiiir…
The elevator descended smoothly, then abruptly stopped midway.
Outside the glass dome stood the woman who had called me a male prostitute, holding a bundle of luggage.
Her name was Adela, wasn’t it?
The doors opened before Adela.
When she saw the Magic Tower Lord foaming at the mouth, she trembled and glared at me.
"Fuck… Y-you male-prostitute bastard! Ah, this is so embarrassing! How hard did you have to fuck her for her to faint?!"
…?
Judging by the way she spoke, she really did think I was a male prostitute.
Would the Magic Tower Lord call a male prostitute to her private office in the Magic Tower?
I was already irritated by the urgent situation, so I shouted at Adela.
"Shut up, and if you’re getting in, get in already!"
"Hah? This male prostitute is getting cocky—"
I put some force into it and kicked Adela, who was standing between the doors, in the stomach.
Thud!
"Guhurk!"
Shove!
Adela was pushed back.
And I immediately hit the close-door button.
"Cough! I-I’ll kill you!"
What a nasty temper…
I ignored her and went down to the first floor.
When the doors opened and I yelled, the mages rushed toward me in a panic.
"Someone help! A doctor! Call a doctor!"
"M-Magic Tower Lord! What happened?! Call a priest!"
"What’s going on?!"
"Huh? She fainted?"
The mages moved quickly.
They chanted a spell, formed a mass of water, and laid the Magic Tower Lord atop it.
"Where’s the priest?!"
"They said one is on the way!"
"Oh dear… What in the world happened?"
A man with slicked-back hair and glasses approached me through the now-noisy crowd.
"Jang Ryu-o?"
"Yes, but how do you know my name?"
The bespectacled man leaned close and whispered in my ear.
"I assisted with the labyrinth incident."
"Ah, hello. May I ask who you are?"
"I am Eldric Sillon, the Deputy Tower Lord."
Eldric tilted his head as he looked at the Magic Tower Lord…
"Could you tell me what happened?"
"Ah."
As I was about to explain, my words suddenly caught in my throat.
I glanced at my skill window.
MP: 140/700, 30/580, 100/100 [LV.1 Circle]
A conspicuous new skill. And new MP.
‘It seems I wasn’t satisfied with two dantians, so I went ahead and created a Circle too.’
How was I supposed to explain that?
I only wanted to tell someone I could trust.
As I thought up an excuse, Eldric stared openly at me.
"Hmm…"
He seemed to suspect me.
But I was someone the Magic Tower Lord had invited. Could he really act this way?
Letting my displeasure show, I glared at Eldric.
"Are you perhaps suspicious of me?"
Looking as though he had made a mistake, Eldric bowed and apologized.
"My apologies. The Magic Tower Lord has not fainted in recent memory… I lost my composure."
"I understand. Please raise your head."
"Thank—"
At that moment, a clear, ringing voice cut off Eldric’s apology.
"Hey! Male prostitute! You dare kick me? I’ll kill you!"
At the sight of Adela striding toward me, I nearly lost my temper.
"Of course she fainted! After getting a taste of a young man…"
Adela formed a magic circle in her hand…
I charged immediately and slammed my fist into her solar plexus with all my strength.
"My breath is…"
Whoosh!
"Huh?"
Booooom!!!!!
"Guhurk!"
As Adela crouched on the spot, unable even to breathe, I kicked her in the shoulder.
Thud!
Adela was sent flying back again.
I glared coldly at Adela as she sprawled on the ground, heaving.
"Urk! Bleurgh! Cough… Cough!"
Adela vomited. Disgusting as hell.
"Worry about your grandmother, who’s collapsed."
"Cough… You… Y-you bastard…"
I kicked Adela in the chin and knocked her out.
Crack!
"…"
What rotten luck today.
The mages behind me whispered as they watched me.
-The young lady finally met her match today…
-Isn’t that the young man who defeated the Orc Hero on the tenth floor…?
-That’s him? Wow… And she called someone like that a male prostitute?
-Who knows~ The young lady’s future is all tangled up now.
-Priest! Heal that person lying over there too.
When I turned around, I saw the mages glancing at me…
‘Is he laughing?’
The Deputy Tower Lord was grinning before covering his mouth.
He hadn’t seemed to have that kind of personality, but he was laughing in this situation?
It was suspicious, but perhaps I was jumping to conclusions.
Then again, given Adela’s personality, perhaps he simply found it satisfying.
Still, I should mention it to Grandma.
But what was I supposed to tattle about? ‘The Deputy Tower Lord watched your granddaughter get beaten and smiled creepily. Really creepily.’?
Ha, fuck… Wouldn’t she trust the Deputy Tower Lord more than me?
I didn’t know. I just wanted to hurry home and see my master.
**
The priest attending to the Magic Tower Lord nodded and spoke.
"She will awaken if she rests for about a day. She suffered mana backlash, but she pulled through safely."
Mana backlash—in other words, a qi deviation.
It wasn’t a blood pressure issue. Stunned by how serious it was, I stood there blankly.
The mages were the same.
"No, how could the Magic Tower Lord suffer mana backlash…? Huh?"
"What is this?"
The mages stared at me.
I decided to give them a rough excuse.
"Um, I damaged a book the Magic Tower Lord cherished."
"What? What kind of book could possibly—"
"It was a book called [Miracle Worker]."
The mages trembled, their lips quivering as they looked at one another.
"Ahh, that would do it."
"That thing costs 2,000 gold—"
"Shh! Shh! Don’t embarrass him…"
The mages looked at me as though I were a young man who had crashed a rental car into a sports car.
Unable to bear the thought of watching over the Magic Tower Lord for an entire day, I hurried outside.
"I’ll come back soon and apologize again! I’m sorry! I’ll be back!"
"Huh? Ah, yes! You must come by and reach a settle— No, you must come see the Magic Tower Lord!"
"Yes!"
I’d see her next time… Next time…
By the time I finished watching the Magic Tower Lord’s examination, the sun had set.
"Ah… the essence shop…"
For security reasons, the essence shop closed in the evening.
I had brought a huge pile of gold coins because of the essence shop today, so that was disappointing.
‘Since things turned out this way, I should get compensation from the duke’s daughter before I go.’
I relieved my stress by running.
After running for quite some time, I arrived home…
"Honey~♥"
My master was smiling brightly and acting cute.
There were no longer any boundaries between us inside the house.
The day’s fatigue melted away, and I couldn’t help but smile.
I embraced my master, who had opened both her arms to me.
"Honey, I’ll do better from now on…"
"Mm? If you do any better, it’ll be hard on me, though?♥ Hehe! Then, to practice that…"
The hand stroking my back abruptly stopped.
"Honey?"
"Sweetie? Don’t tell me this is…"
I supported my master as the strength drained from her legs.
It seemed she had noticed.
I spoke as calmly as I could.
"I… formed a mana Circle."
My master stared blankly at me from within my arms.
Her mouth fell open as she looked at me…
"Is your body… all right?"
"…Yes."
"I see… Are you hungry?"
"Yes…"
"…Explain it to me while we eat… Haha… I suppose it could happen. Mm…"
My master muttered with vacant eyes.
The explanation began over dinner.
My master kept dropping grains of rice.
That day, I sat my master on my lap and fed her spoonfuls of food.
