Chapter 36: 36. Undressing Cheon Hwayeong

Inside a certain mansion, a girl was running down a spotless corridor lined with dazzling decorations.

Her face was bright red, her eyes glittering so intensely that she looked completely out of her mind.

Her pink hair flying behind her, the girl came to a stop before a door, flung it open, and made a tremendous fuss.

Rattle! Bang!

"Master! Master!!!"

The woman who had been elegantly drinking tea in a luxurious chair turned to look at her unruly disciple.

"Riner, can’t you be a little more composed now that you’re a woman? It would be perfect if you and Ethan just switched person—"

"Me! Me! There’s something I want! If you just give me that, I’ll work really, really hard from now on!"

Though she had been interrupted midway through her sentence, the woman sighed as though this was far from the first time.

Judging by the gleam in the eyes of the disciple she had raised for so long, this was no ordinary matter.

Whenever her disciple wore that look in her eyes, she always got what she wanted somehow.

No matter what happened to everyone around her.

Thinking she needed to bring her disciple to her senses before she caused another major disaster, the woman spoke.

"First, calm down and catch your breath—"

"Hup! Hoo..."

"Sit down over there, and—"

"I want Jang Ryu-o so badly!"

"...Haa. You crazy bitch."

The girl wasn’t bad at all when it came to skill, so how had she grown up this wrong...?

The woman set down her teacup and pressed a hand to her brow.

"More importantly... did you complete your first mission? What happened to the young lady?"

Riner beamed innocently and began her mission report.

"I failed! I met Jang Ryu-o there, and—"

The woman’s expression went blank, her lips parting and closing soundlessly.

"What? You failed? How? Did the knight commander catch on? This makes no—"

"Jang Ryu-o killed an Orc Hero!"

The loser of that exchange was the woman, deep furrows creasing her brow.

She judged that there would be no getting anywhere with this conversation unless she stopped Riner from talking about Jang Ryu-o.

Resisting the urge to smack her insane disciple on the crown of the head, the woman waved a hand.

Hummm!

At her gesture, mana lifted Riner into the air and seated her in a chair.

Hot water filled the teapot, which moved on its own and poured a cup of tea.

Riner took the tea that had somehow appeared in her hand and happily sipped it.

"You know? It happened on the fifth floor..."

After listening to her disciple chatter incoherently for quite some time, the woman pieced it all together.

Anyone watching would have been awed by her exceptional ability to decipher meaning.

The woman forgot even the tea she had been drinking and opened and closed her lips in shock.

"What? He shot up into the sky? Did he teleport? That little chick who’s only just heading to the tenth floor?"

"Mm-hm! It was so, so beautiful! He kicked off the sky and accelerated, like a god of war descending to punish evil..."

The woman rested a hand against her chin and sank into thought.

She had invested a considerable amount of resources to ensure the job was done, yet there was a man who had overcome all of it...

He could even teleport, and apparently his swordsmanship was extraordinary as well.

If they brought him over to their side and raised him well, he might become a tremendous asset in the future.

The problem, however, was...

"He’s Arin’s husband?"

Not seeming frightened even upon hearing Arin’s name, Riner answered brightly.

"Yeah! Or maybe her disciple? But if I were her, I think I’d take him as my husband! He’s really cool!"

Wondering whether he was worth making an enemy of Arin, the woman rose from her seat.

She stamped her foot once...

Boom! Rrrrrumble!

The mansion floor split apart, revealing a long staircase beneath it.

"Haa... Gather the others. Let’s go inside and talk first."

"Okay!"

Riner lightly tapped the armor of the Death Knight standing by the stairs, then followed the woman down.

Into the darkness with no end in sight.

*

When I came to, the agonizing pain from the battle wasn’t coursing through my entire body...

Instead, I felt healthier than before.

Then my eyes should have opened naturally, but for some reason, I could barely open them.

It felt as if something had glued my eyelids together.

"What the...?"

"You’re awake."

Forgetting that my eyelids were stuck together, I jerked upright in shock.

Forgetting even the fear of not being able to open my eyes properly, I strained them open...

Crackle.

A sound that should never have come from my eyes did.

As brown powder flaked down, I stared at it blankly...

"Powder...?"

"Blood."

I looked at Cheon Hwayeong, who had faithfully answered my muttered question.

Cheon Hwayeong was lying on the bed I had occupied until just moments ago.

Come to think of it...

[Enough. Sleep.]

Only then did my memories from before I passed out come flooding back.

I killed the orc, and that pink-haired girl was definitely about to do something...

The image of chunks of flesh flying through the air replayed in my head.

Then there was Cheon Hwayeong picking me up in her arms.

Hmm... Even though I had witnessed it with my own two eyes, I couldn’t make sense of how things had unfolded.

My mind was clear for some reason, but it was still hard to understand.

"So... you came to save me? What about my companions? And where are we?"

Cheon Hwayeong frowned as she answered.

"Save... yes."

Was the woman I knew actually some kind of master?

More importantly...

"How did you know where I was? How did you know I was in danger?"

The furrow between Cheon Hwayeong’s brows deepened, and she stared at me with murderous eyes.

I was a little intimidated, but it wasn’t as though I had asked something I shouldn’t have, was it?

As I blinked at her, Cheon Hwayeong squeezed her eyes shut and explained.

"A feeling."

I had no idea what kind of ridiculous explanation that was.

But Cheon Hwayeong firmly shut her mouth as if she had no intention of saying anything more.

Just like someone prickly, her response was prickly too.

I felt like I would get hit if I kept pressing her.

So I decided to change the subject.

"Thank you for saving me. I don’t know what might have happened to me, but... thanks to you, I survived."

The crease in Cheon Hwayeong’s brow gradually smoothed out, and she let out a deep sigh.

"Haa... Go wash up. You’re shedding powder everywhere."

Only then did I see the dried bloodstains cracking all over me.

If she was telling me to wash, I supposed this was Cheon Hwayeong’s home.

As I hesitantly stepped out of the room...

"Um..."

"What now?"

"Where’s the bathroom...?"

I mean, how was the hallway this long?

There wasn’t a single person around, either.

Cheon Hwayeong laughed as if I were absurd.

Snicker...

"Go out and take the fourth room on the right."

*

After washing in a bathtub so luxurious it seemed antique, I put on the loose-fitting clothes hanging nearby and returned to the room.

"Um...?"

Seeing the clothes I wore, Cheon Hwayeong shut her eyes and spoke.

"...You certainly helped yourself to them."

"Want me to pay for them?"

"Forget it... Since it’s come to this, take them."

I had expressed my thanks and washed up, so I figured it was time to leave.

I didn’t know what had happened to my companions, and my master would be waiting for me too.

But the state Cheon Hwayeong was in...

"Are you hurt?"

"It was all sucked into your dantian."

"My dantian? Did you treat me?"

"See for yourself."

After that prickly, blunt response, I sat beside Cheon Hwayeong and crossed my legs in meditation.

The instant I concentrated and examined my dantian...

...?...???? Why do I have two dantians?

There was another dantian inside my body.

I hastily opened my status window.

Inventory

????? No, why did I have two MP bars? And why had my stats gone up so much? And [Heavenly Demon Divine Art]?

I stared at Cheon Hwayeong in alarm.

The moment I was about to ask whether she was the Heavenly Demon, I firmly shut my mouth.

What kind of reaction would she have if a novice like me asked whether I had learned [Heavenly Demon Divine Art]?

She would interrogate me about how I knew.

It was obvious things would get complicated. Better to keep my mouth shut.

I spoke to Cheon Hwayeong, whose eyebrow had arched crookedly.

"I have another dantian."

"So it seems."

"Is that normally possible—"

"Hah?"

Seeing Cheon Hwayeong’s incredulous expression, I shut my mouth.

Judging by that reaction, something that absolutely should not be possible had happened.

The reason my stats had gone up was probably that the [Transmigrant] title activated while I was unconscious.

Maybe the rest was thanks to [Heavenly Demon Divine Art].

How was I supposed to explain this to my master...?

Seeing me agonize over it, Cheon Hwayeong spoke.

"Take my clothes off for me."

...?

"Huh?"

For a moment, Cheon Hwayeong glared at me as though she were genuinely angry.

"Do you think I moved you with [Void Grasp]?"

Come to think of it, dried blood had crusted beneath Cheon Hwayeong’s breasts and across her stomach.

"You could take them off your—"

"I can’t move because of you."

I had received the favor of having my life saved, of course, but I was about to say this was too much when...

"I can see straight through you. I have no ulterior motives, so just take them off."

This was the bare minimum consideration I could show someone who had saved my life.

"This is to show my gratitude. Got it?"

Crack!

...I began undoing the buttons at her collar one by one.

Tap. Tap. Tap. Pop! Boing!

...Get a grip. The buttons over her chest sprang free like they had exploded, but I hadn’t seen a thing.

Why did she wear clothes this tight...? I almost felt sorry for the fabric being pushed away by those enormous breasts.

And then...

"Y-you! Why aren’t you wearing any underwear?!"

Large, beautiful breasts that seemed to defy gravity sprang free, with nothing at all to cover them.

Though her intimate parts were exposed, Cheon Hwayeong spoke indifferently as if she did not care in the slightest.

"Quiet."

"No, but this is a little—"

"Haa... I’m wearing something below, so just take it off."

Internally, I repeated a mantra to banish all worldly thoughts.

Every time I undid another button, a glimpse of Cheon Hwayeong’s white flesh came into view.

Firm, clear skin without a single blemish.

The more her clothes fell open, revealing her voluptuous body, the dizzier I felt.

I wanted to go see my master already...

Then Cheon Hwayeong looked at me and smiled in delight.

"Heh... hehehe! There’s no one lewder than you."

"..."

I wasn’t about to fall for such a simple provocation.

I was a man with a lover. At least, that was how I saw it.

Before I knew it, my hand had reached the very bottom.

When I undid the final button, the clothing that had barely covered her wide hips fell open.

Assaulted by the sight, I tensed my thighs, lifted my head, and thought about something else.

"Pwahahaha!"

"I’m running away, okay?"

"Hehehehe... Haa... What even is this bastard...?"

I slipped Cheon Hwayeong’s arms free and removed her clothes for her.

I couldn’t look below. I wasn’t confident I could hold out.

Ever since I did it with my master, everything down there had been working far too well.

Cheon Hwayeong spoke to me as I kept my head raised.

"Wipe my body."

When I turned to look at Cheon Hwayeong, she was smiling playfully.

"Come on."

I think I’m going to lose my mind...
