Heaven
Although they had been preparing for the invasion by Uchiha Madara and [Akatsuki], as well as for matters in the Demon World and the Underworld, the angels were still helpless before [Akatsuki]. In the end, after Archangels Michael and Uriel were severely wounded and countless angels sacrificed their lives, the battle against [Akatsuki] ended in victory. And the main force behind that victory, Hyoudou Issei, once again drew the attention of the world. On the third day since he had lost consciousness, a huge crowd had gathered before Gabriel’s palace in Heaven.
“Let me meet the Red Dragon Emperor!”
“Are you planning to monopolize that hero all to yourselves in Heaven!?”
“If you don’t let us see him soon, we’ll force our way in by strength!!”
The streets were packed not only with angels, but also with devils and Fallen Angels who had rushed over after hearing that Issei had driven [Akatsuki] back single-handedly. The heavenly soldiers trying to hold them back were drenched in sweat. And amid all that uproar, Issei finally woke inside Gabriel’s palace.
“This is an unfamiliar ceiling...”
The unfamiliar ceiling, the white walls adorned with beautifully balanced gold and silver patterns and furnishings, and the sunlight of Heaven streaming in to brighten everything further—it all looked like a scene from a film, so beautiful it felt healing just to look at. Then—
“Have you awakened?”
A voice came from beside him. When he turned his head, he saw—
“! Y-you are!?”
“Ufufu, good morning~. My name is Gabriel. I look forward to getting along with you~”
He sat up at the sight of the figure before him. It was none other than Gabriel, the greatest beauty in Heaven, the very woman Issei had fallen for at first sight. She had cared for him day and night for three days in gratitude for saving Heaven, and Issei stared at her without blinking for a long while as she greeted him so gently.
“Is this real? It’s not a dream, right!?”
Smack
“It’s not a dream...”
After pinching his own cheek to confirm it, Issei looked back at Gabriel, who tilted her head.
“Is there something on my face?”
“Ah, n-no, you’re just so beautiful that I...”
“Oh my~, how embarrassing~”
Her shy reaction, delivered in that soft voice, was so beautiful and cute that he wanted to hug her on impulse. Or rather, her sacred beauty was so far beyond his reach that he couldn’t bring himself to approach her easily, and that only made the silence between them awkward.
“Is your body all right?”
“Ah, yes, thanks to you! Ngh!”
When he tried moving his body to check, pain suddenly surged through him. The aftereffects still hadn’t faded. As Issei grimaced in pain—
“Are you all right?”
“Yes, I think I’ll be fine if I rest a little.”
“Is there anything I can do for you?”
“Kuh!”
Gabriel, for reasons unknown, began touching Issei here and there to check his condition. Under normal circumstances he would have been thinking, “Lucky!” and savoring every touch, but since it genuinely hurt, he kept one eye squeezed shut the whole time.
‘My power still hasn’t recovered. Moving around for a while is going to be impossible.’
If his power returned, he could still move even with the aftereffects, but in this state, not only the [Rinnegan] but even the [Sharingan] was out of the question for a while.
“Are you really all right?”
“Ah, well... because of the aftereffects of battle, I don’t think I’ll be able to move for a while. Ahahaha.”
“Oh my~ Then I’ll take responsibility and nurse you back to health!”
As Issei could only endure the pain and fall silent, Gabriel took both of his hands with a face full of genuine concern. When he answered honestly, she smiled brightly and said that.
“Th-thank you, no, it’s an honor! To think someone as great as an Archangel would personally nurse me...”
“Ufufufu, think nothing of it.”
Overwhelmed with gratitude and not knowing what to do with himself, Issei was met with Gabriel’s amused giggle.
“You’re the hero who saved not only Heaven, but the Demon World and the Underworld as well. To call it an honor from someone like me... Issei, you’re very humble.”
Gabriel smiled brightly as she said that, and Issei was left dazed. Talking like this with the most beautiful woman in Heaven felt almost like being in a dream, and though the lack of reality nearly made him blurt out something indecent, he shook his head hard.
“Please don’t worry. I’ll do anything for you.”
“R-really? You’ll do anything?”
“Yes, anything.”
“Anything... Was there always such a beautiful word in Japanese!”
Grrr...
Just as the atmosphere was about to explode into lust, his stomach, unable to read the room, cried out for food.
“Ah...”
“Ufufu, then I’ll prepare a meal first~”
With a gentle smile, Gabriel left the room, and Issei punched his damn stomach over and over, only to suffer even more because he still had lingering damage. In any case, before long Gabriel returned alone, pushing a cart piled high with food.
“Wow...”
Seafood, meat, and all kinds of dishes—an absolute feast so lavish he didn’t know where to start. He reached for the nearest thing, something that looked like lobster, and then—
“Kuh!”
Just extending his hand sent pain surging through his entire body, as if every muscle had knotted up at once. Then—
“Are you all right?”
“Ah. Well, because of the aftereffects, I don’t think I can use my hands. Ahahaha.”
“Then I’ll feed you!”
Gabriel answered at once, without the slightest hesitation, to Issei’s awkward laugh. She pulled the meat from the lobster and carefully brought it to his mouth.
“Ah~”
Adding a cute little voice for good measure, Gabriel leaned in, and her ample chest came right up to his face. For a while, Issei’s eyes were stolen by the sight.
“Issei-sama?”
“Ah, ahh...”
He came to his senses and swallowed it, but because he was so tense, he ended up sucking on Gabriel’s fingers too.
“Ngh...”
“Ah, I’m sorry.”
When Issei’s mouth wrapped around her finger, Gabriel let out a small moan, and Issei’s face turned red all at once.
“It’s all right. What would you like next?”
“Then this one.”
This time it was a whole roasted chicken. Gabriel tore off a leg and brought it to Issei’s mouth.
“Ah~”
Once again she added the voice, her full chest drifting into his line of sight, and Issei opened his mouth only to suck on Gabriel’s finger again—whether by accident or on purpose, even he couldn’t tell.
“Issei-sama...”
Doing the same thing twice was enough for even a fool to notice, and Issei braced himself for a slap. But—
“Is it hard to eat?”
“Ah, that? No, yes.”
“Then~”
“!”
Issei was thrown into confusion by Gabriel’s sudden move. She had actually bitten the food with her own mouth and brought it right up to him.
“How am I supposed to eat like thaaat?”
He was having trouble taking food by hand, so using her mouth instead... Issei had never even imagined such a thing. And with the greatest blonde beauty in Heaven holding meat in her mouth and leaning in close, his lower body began to rise on its own.
‘Calm down! My baby! This is a trap of temptation!’
There was no way things could go this smoothly. Issei became wary, sensing some kind of trap.
“Whyyy are you acting liiike that?”
She brushed her soft-looking hair back behind her ear with one hand, still holding the meat in her mouth. Her chest was nearly touching him now, and with Heaven’s greatest beauty making such a face, all caution simply flew out the window. Any healthy man would—
“Lady Gabriel! I’m a man too!”
When a woman feeds a man mouth to mouth, that was unmistakably temptation! And if he didn’t fall for that temptation, he’d be unworthy of being called a gentleman. Thinking that, Issei pushed Gabriel down on the spot. (Hey! What happened to being in pain!?)
“E-eh? Issei-sama?”
Gabriel’s face turned bright red at Issei’s sudden attack, her confusion plain to see. The truth was that Gabriel had only done this because she had heard from the maid angels, who had been reading books with red labels right up to the edge of corruption, that this would cure all of a man’s ailments. In a sense, it wasn’t wrong to say it cured everything... but still.
“If you tempt me like that, then even I...”
“Um...”
At last, realizing that a misunderstanding had occurred, Gabriel opened her mouth with a determined expression.
“Do you want to eat me?”
“!!!?”
That sudden statement, of course, had also been taught to her by the maid angels who read those red-labeled books. After feeding food mouth to mouth, men would surely pin her down, and then instead of the food, they would try to eat her. When Gabriel asked what it meant to “eat” her, the maid angels refused to answer. They had only told her that she should simply surrender herself to whatever the man did. And after following that lesson—just what kind of lesson had that been?—Issei’s hesitation vanished completely.
“R-really... I can eat you?”
“Yes... if that makes Issei-sama happy...”
“Th-then! I’ll gladly accept!”
“Kyaa! Issei-sama!?”
Once Gabriel gave her permission, Issei reached for Gabriel’s chest—the forbidden territory of every man, and indeed every angel—and at the same time lifted her skirt. Startled, Gabriel screamed.
“Eh?”
“This is... um... what is this...?”
“No, you said I could eat you...”
“Eh? You weren’t talking about eating the food?”
“Huh?”
Issei finally realized that a misunderstanding had piled upon misunderstanding, and in the end they completely changed tactics and sat down quietly to talk.
“Those damn maid angels...”
He realized that everything had been the maid angels’ scheme. A vein popped on Issei’s forehead, but there was one thing he had learned: Gabriel was the purest kind of natural airhead. The fact that she hadn’t realized what was happening until just before actual sex meant she was probably even more innocent than Asia.
“I’m sorry for misunderstanding things on my own!”
“No... I’m the one who’s sorry. I had no idea that’s what you meant. But... um, I...”
There was an important point here. Why had Gabriel, without bringing any maids with her, personally nursed him for three days and nights, and why had she brought his meals herself? It was because, in the previous battle, she had felt his manliness when he protected her from Madara. In other words—
“Issei-sama, do you like me?”
“Of course! I fell for you at first sight!”
Gabriel had even begun to think that Issei, who had already been about to go all the way, might have feelings for her, and at his immediate answer—
“I’m glad~. The truth is, I also...”
“!! R-really?”
He couldn’t believe his ears. He had never imagined Gabriel would fall for him. No, if he thought about it carefully, there had been several suspicious signs. The personal nursing, bringing him food, trying to pass food mouth to mouth—no matter how much of an airhead she was, she wouldn’t do those things to a man unless she had feelings for him. Once all the pieces fell into place—
“Yes, I... I’m embarrassed. Is this what you call a confession?”
“I’ll take responsibility for you for the rest of your life!!!”
He was already thinking about marriage, and he pulled Gabriel into an embrace. Gabriel did not resist; instead, she wrapped him in her soft body.
Just as they were holding each other—
“...Issei, what on earth is going on here?”
“Eh? S-senpai? Why are you here?”
Suddenly, the familiar red-haired girl appeared beyond the door. And then—
“Issei... even though you have me, you’re going after angels too...”
“Issei-san, I don’t mind how many there are...”
Raynare, on the verge of tears, and Asia, with dead eyes, appeared as well.
“So you’re even seducing angels, huh? Not bad, nya.”
And then Kuroka emerged from beyond the door and casually approached, slipping into Issei’s arms and placing a hand on his chest. The girls who should have been in the human world had come here, and Issei was stunned. Caught red-handed in the act of cheating, he was met with—
“Why is Issei so ero!?”
Rias puffed out her cheeks, unable to grab his ear and yank him around like some Issei from a parallel world, but still clearly furious.
“Oh my~, are all of you Issei-sama’s friends?”
As expected, Gabriel was too much of a natural to read the room. She tilted her head, then seemed to remember something and said,
“Ah! Issei-sama always takes such good care of me.”
She offered the greeting used in human society, and somehow everyone began glaring at Gabriel as if she were their mortal enemy.
“Oh my~, Issei-sama, was my greeting wrong?”
“...No, it’s wrong in a different sense.”
“Then why is Archangel Gabriel-sama with Issei?”
Rias asked with a smile, but her brow twitched as if she might explode depending on the answer. Behind her, Raynare was also looking at Gabriel with a cold smile, clearly sharing the same sentiment.
“I was just confessing to Issei-sama. And Issei-sama suddenly tried to pin me down. I did like how manly he was, though.”
“No, I...”
Issei had no way out now. Then, for some reason, Rias suddenly broke into a bright smile.
“I see? Is that so? Well, it can’t be helped, ufufu.”
Then she abruptly turned serious and began releasing crimson magical power from her entire body. Gabriel tilted her head at Rias, who had suddenly shifted into battle mode.
“Oh my, why are you suddenly doing that?”
“I’d appreciate it if you returned Issei to me right now.”
“I’m afraid I can’t do that. From now on, I’m going to share some hot love with Issei-sama~”
Blushing as she looked at Issei, Gabriel spoke softly. Then, all of a sudden, Gabriel’s pure white wings turned black, then white again, then began to glitter. Fallen Angels are the result of angels who have fallen after being consumed by desire; wings that glitter black are a sign of lust, a sign of corruption. In other words, she was about to fall because she had become aroused by Issei. Seeing that, Rias understood exactly what it meant and began radiating an oni-like aura from her whole body.
“I’m not giving Issei to some damn angel! Give me back my Issei!”
Throwing away all social standing, Rias shouted and yanked on one of Issei’s arms, while Gabriel refused to let go either.
“Oh my~, how barbaric~, I suppose this is why we can’t get along with devils~”
For some reason, Gabriel no longer seemed like her usual self. She was smiling, but a dark air was leaking from her. They said women change when they meet a rival in love, and this was exactly that situation. As the two women glared at each other—
“Nyaa~”
Kuroka, wearing only her underwear and half-undressed, hugged Issei from the front.
“Aah!?”
“Oh my~”
Rias was caught off guard and startled, and Gabriel also placed a hand on her cheek in apparent trouble. Then—
“Give Issei back!~ He’s mine!”
“Issei-sama~ Wouldn’t you prefer me over such barbaric devils~?”
“Nyaa~”
“I’m here too, you know!? Issei! Hurry up and get away from them!”
“Issei-san... I don’t mind how many there are or what number I am...”
Rias kept pressing in on Issei, trying to claim as much of his body as possible, while Gabriel resisted being pushed away and buried her face against his neck, her arms hooked around him. Kuroka was wedged in between them, sprawled across his knees. Raynare joined in late and hugged him from behind without letting go. And Asia, standing right in front with dead-fish eyes, watched the whole scene unfold. The sickroom had somehow turned into a battlefield, and in the end, with everyone strangling him from every direction—
“M-my throat...! My throat, please!”
‘If this goes on any longer, I might actually die...’
For the first time, Issei truly felt his life was in danger...
