Chapter 1: [Prologue] - The Story of Those Who Write a New Tale

This place felt devoid of life, stripped of all vitality.

As nature reclaimed the land, the ruins of a once-thriving human civilization were laid bare—rusted steel frames, weathered signs, crumbling houses, and skeletal cars.

Remnants of the past lay strewn about, eroded by the wind and scattering like dust in the air.

In the heart of those ruins—

BOOM!

"Aaaagh! Damn it all!"

"Where do you think you’re going, our cute little Tobung? Do you have any idea how long I've been looking for you?"

"You crazy bastard! I told you to stop chasing—ghk!"

"Writer’s Eraser, commence annihilation!"

"Nice! Grave!"

A man and a woman were working in tandem to take down a gigantic monstrosity.

The creature was a hulking, grotesque fusion of machine and organic flesh, brandishing vicious, high-heat impact maces in both hands.

"Demon Slash."

KRA-KAKAKAKAKAK!

"Aaaagh!"

From his empty hands, a green aura erupted, manifesting into a bizarre, horned rabbit-like creature. Following the man’s command, the construct began savagely raking the machine-lifeform's body.

Under the assault of that alien, grotesque force, the machine-lifeform was quickly reduced to a shredded, ragged mess.

"Writer’s Eraser, maximum output. Time to finish this."

THUD! BOOM!

"Grrr... rrr..."

A woman wearing a cracked helmet muttered coldly. She casually fired a massive anti-materiel rifle—a weapon that looked cumbersome but spat out terrifying firepower—aiming to put the shredded monstrosity out of its misery.

RATATATATATA! BOOM!

"GRAAAHHH!"

"Nihilister!?"

"Ha! Since Tobung is in danger, the spicy chicken granny decided to make an appearance!"

"Who are you calling a spicy chicken granny, you damned human bastard!?"

A dragon-shaped machine lifeform, bathed in crimson light and radiating heat capable of melting solid rock, descended from the sky and launched an attack.

At the sight of it, the man wore a vicious grin, the helmeted woman looked flustered, and the dying monstrosity quickly leaped away to create some distance.

"Hey, chatterbox! Look what you've done!"

"Ghh... my apologies..."

"Damn it, this is so irritating! Fine... this time, I'll crush both of you for real—"

Before the dragon-shaped machine could even finish its irritated threat—

"Glass Slipper Full Contact, subdue them."

PI-PI-PI-PIT! BOOM!

"AAAAAGH!"

Blinding beams of light poured down from above, suppressing both machine lifeforms in a single instant.

"Ha... here comes the nagging again."

"...Because of you, Cinderella is going to get dirty again. You'll have to take responsibility."

"Hey, I told you clearly! I said don't help me, no matter what!"

"Cinderella must have been truly worried to step in."

"You little punk! You're just as bad!"

Descending from the sky was a beautiful silver-haired woman. Her appearance evoked the purity of silver and the delicate elegance of glasswork. She effortlessly pinned down the machine lifeforms, manipulating four floating glass panels with precision.

"Prince~ Grave~ Sorry I'm late. I came to welcome you back."

She was breathtakingly beautiful, possessing an ethereal grace that felt almost divine, yet the purity and brightness of her smile were as innocent and endearing as a young girl's.

"Sorry for making you worry. It's all because of this superhuman bastard."

"This mess happened because you started firing recklessly just because you thought Cinderella was worried!"

"According to my Calculation, it was the perfect timing. We could have finished this faster."

"That Tobung bastard already knew that!"

As Cinderella greeted them, the man and woman immediately devolved into bickering. Cinderella simply watched them, a gentle smile on her lips—

"These pests... how dare you ignore us—"

"Shut up, you damn Rapture!"

KWA-BOOM!

The mechanical dragon, having barely managed to stand, let out a growl, but it was immediately slammed back down by the combined force of the anti-materiel rifle and the vicious flame claws.

"Heehee~ You two really do get along so well~"

"...That's not it! It's not like that!"

A world reduced to ruins.

An era where machines rule the earth in place of humanity.

A time defined by chaos, betrayal, and the brink of extinction.

And finally, the story of other 'Resistance' fighters who, clinging to hope, begin to write a new tale.
