Chapter 22: 22.

Thwop thwop thwop thwop.

We watched the dinosaur island receding from inside the helicopter taking off.

"How can you not win a single game of Rock Paper Scissors..."

After hunting the dinosaur, Kim Dokja raided the laboratory on the dinosaur island and farmed various stat-enhancing ampoules.

At first, he tried to take them all for himself, but thinking it was a bit much, he brought them to me suggesting we share. Then he said let's divide them by Rock Paper Scissors.

The result was that Lee Jihye didn't get a single one.

"So frustrating...! You shared with everyone else!"

"Jihye-ya."

Jung Heewon said, grabbing the shoulder of the frustrated Jihye.

"Little sister. In this world, you have to line up well."

"Uaaack!!"

Having fun, aren't they?

It's nice to see those two getting along quite well.

"By the way, Dokja-ssi. Is something bothering you?"

"Ah, I'm concerned about what those men said earlier."

Those men.

Right after catching the Tyrannosaurus Rex that popped out earlier, we found a group of men being chased by that dinosaur and saved them.

But they soon met their deaths, and every single one of them mumbled about being Prophets.

I know their identity... but anyway, Kim Dokja will figure it out soon even if I don't tell him, so it's probably better not to say anything.

No need to make him anxious by telling him unnecessarily.

"Let's think about it later. Let's focus on what's in front of us for now."

"Understood."

Jung Heewon and Lee Jihye bickered, and Kim Dokja pondered.

Gilyoung sent his newly made friend far away, and I watched all of this while looking into the message window that popped up.

A slight dizziness followed, and when I regained my senses, we had returned to the first floor of the Theater Dungeon.

"Ah, my head..."

I looked around, clutching my head.

The scenery was the same as before we entered.

The only difference was that the poster of the movie we entered was torn.

"How many more floors do we have to go through like this?"

At Jihye's question amidst this, Kim Dokja answered while heading towards the escalator going up.

"Since there must be floors Yoo Joonghyuk cleared, it won't take as long as you think."

We quickly headed to the 2nd floor via the escalator.

As if to signify that from the 2nd floor onwards were proper screening rooms, the remaining space was quite narrow.

Naturally, all the movie posters were torn.

"There are quite a few famous movies."

"There's an animation movie too?"

"Where?"

I looked at the poster at Kim Dokja's words.

"Demon Slayer..."

There's a work that shouldn't exist originally.

Since the original background of ORV is the late 2010s, the Demon Slayer movie shouldn't have even come out.

I looked at it in fascination.

"This must have been difficult, impressive that he cleared it."

"Do you know what this work is?"

"An animation about slaying demons (Oni) that don't die by normal swords."

"Must have been certainly difficult."

Seems he avoided scenes inflicting mental attacks.

That work... I remember scenes where characters fall into dreams and have their minds messed with.

He got lucky. Yoo Joonghyuk.

"Let's go up one more time."

"Okay."

Like that, we went up one more floor, and then one more, arriving at the 4th floor.

From the 2nd to the 3rd floor, all posters were torn, but on the 4th floor, a single movie poster remained intact.

"Wow... this is a masterpiece."

Once again, the spotlight shone on us, and we entered a movie one more time.

"...Ugh."

Blinking once, this time a vast ocean, not a dense forest, came into view.

Salty air felt on my lips, and an open horizon spread before my eyes.

Seeing the ocean after quite a long time, the group gazed at the sea blankly for a moment, and I didn't stop them, admiring the scenery together.

"What movie is this?"

Then hearing Jung Heewon's voice, I turned my head, and there was Jung Heewon wearing a dress that suited her quite well.

The sound of the band's violin coming from inside the cruise ship, the chatting of excited people. A romantic atmosphere unbelievable for just recreating a movie scene.

At this point, isn't it impossible not to know even if you didn't want to?

"The ship is going to sink."

"Urp... That movie..."

Feeling nauseous from severe seasickness, Jihye barely held onto the railing, suppressing the vomit rising from her stomach.

Oh dear. Seasickness must be tough.

"Then Unnie is the heroine...?"

"Seems so. The male lead is..."

People's attention soon turned to me.

As far as I know, Gilyoung was supposed to be the male lead here... but looking at my attire, unfortunately, it seems I became the protagonist.

"Consider it an honor. To be my partner."

"Wow... this movie is ruined. The male lead's personality is a bit..."

"What."

No, my personality isn't bad.

It's because you guys haven't met the real Gojo Satoru.

"Then what should we do in this work. Should we just sink the shi... urp."

"You should just let it all out once."

As soon as Kim Dokja finished speaking, Lee Jihye vomited something shiny into the sea.

Ugh, disgusting.

Poor fish.

"Rather than sinking the ship, how about killing the annoying character?"

The group nodded at my question.

But... I don't remember where that annoying character is.

"Jack Dawson!"

"Hm?"

Hearing the voice, I turned my head and found a man approaching me.

If it's Jack Dawson...

"Is it me?"

"Seems like it."

"Then isn't that him, over there?"

At my question, the group all turned their gaze toward that man.

An impression looking ugly to anyone, speaking as if he's the villain.

Found him.

"Let's tie him up."

"Okay."

"Mmph! Mmmph!"

We tied the man up and dragged him to a secluded place where no presence could be felt.

"We tied him up for now, but what do we do?"

"Let's kill him."

We all looked at Lee Jihye.

Isn't that too blunt?

"No, because of this Ajussi, we know the Theater Master is obsessed with extreme catharsis. Then isn't killing him the right answer?"

"That's true."

I can't deny that.

Since the Theater Master likes things refreshing.

However, at Lee Jihye's words, Jung Heewon stared blankly from the side and added a word quietly.

"He really... looks like a person."

"Excuse me?"

At Jung Heewon's words, Dokja and I looked at her with slightly surprised looks.

Really... a person.

"This is a movie, but he looks so much like a real person. Even though he must be just a character."

Jung Heewon's words strangely prick my heart.

...From my perspective, everyone right now is just a character from a story I read.

But, they are alive and moving right before my eyes like this.

Then are they characters, or real people?

"Is this the time to be sentimental and zone out? You mean not kill him?"

"That's not it, but..."

"Unnie, this isn't the time for sentimental talk. If we don't kill this person, we die, you know? He's just a character, so put away useless sentiments."

Saying that, Lee Jihye drew her sword and stabbed the tied-up man to death.

"In the first place, this man is a villain who would do bad things. Even if he were a real person, why hesitate?"

"...Right?"

[The Theater Master is somewhat satisfied with the changed ending.]
[A passage to move to the next floor has opened at the bow.]

I think I know why Yoo Joonghyuk takes Jihye around.

Master and disciple relationship. Therefore, the two resembled each other quite a bit.

5th Floor.

Immediately after coming out of the movie, we went up to the 5th floor via the escalator going up.

Waiting for us there was not movie posters like from the 1st to 4th floors, but a dazzling Reward Room.

[You have entered the 5th floor above ground, the Reward Room.]

"Reward Room? I guess movies don't play here?"

"Seems to be an exhibition hall. Must have been a place displaying original movie props."

Kim Dokja feigned ignorance even though he knew.

Actually, inside the glass cases, movie props that looked familiar were displayed.

Various weapons, equipment, costumes, etc. that appeared in various movies...

But funnily enough. All these props were no longer just props.

"Huh?"

Looking around the glass cases, Jung Heewon saw something and immediately reached out to take out a sword.

"Oh my god! Look at this sword!"

A replica of Mikazuki Munechika.

Jung Heewon grabbed the sword, swung it around, and then hugged it tight.

As if she wouldn't give it to anyone.

"Congratulations. You finally got a proper sword. Heewon-ssi."

"Wow...! I just said it in passing when we entered, didn't know I'd really get one!"

Yeah, yeah.

Didn't I say you'd be ecstatic?

[Reward items are limited to 2 per person.]

"Others should pick items too. Heewon-ssi and I will pick items for Sangah-ssi and Hyunsung-ssi."

"I don't need two."

"If you decline here, what do we become! After smashing a dinosaur?"

Jung Heewon's encouragement.

I have no grounds to refuse like this.

I nodded quietly.

"Then...?"

Just as I was about to pick anything randomly.

Two outfits caught my eye.

Why... are these here?
