The moment Akira stepped into the darkness, the laws of the world flipped.
The night streets of Yoshiwara vanished like a mirage, and what greeted them was an infinite space with no known end—the Infinity Castle.
Massive pillars rose upside down, ignoring gravity; countless tatami rooms floated in mid-air; and at the center, boasting an overwhelming majesty, floated a colossal brothel—Mugenrou.
It was Akira's private kingdom, an entire building complex transitioned into an otherworldly dimension through Nakime's Blood Demon Art.
Ting—
The sound of a biwa echoed from somewhere, vibrating through the space.
“Welcome back, Master. I hope your hunt was enjoyable.”
Nakime, holding her biwa, bowed her head, her single eye shining through the gaps in her long hair.
Akira, cradling the unconscious Nezuko like a precious treasure, walked toward the highest point of Mugenrou, the Tenshu-kaku.
Behind him followed Daki and a brightly smiling Mitsuri.
On the top floor of the Tenshu-kaku, in the Golden Room, Nezuko was laid upon a bed decorated with the finest silk and gold.
Nezuko's body was burning hot like a fireball, a fever caused by the process of Akira’s high-concentration cells devouring and fusing with her existing cells.
Gradually, Nezuko shrank back to her original size. No, she became even smaller than her normal height.
“Ugh... Grrr....”
Nezuko opened her eyes, gasping for breath.
Her pupils were unfocused. Her reason had vanished, leaving only instinct—the gaze of a newborn beast.
In her mouth, instead of the bamboo muzzle, she now wore a black leather gag that Akira had placed there.
“Are you awake, kitten?”
Akira sat by the bed and brushed back Nezuko’s sweat-soaked hair.
At his touch, Nezuko flinched and trembled.
“Kh... Grrr...!”
Nezuko instinctively retreated toward the corner of the bed, being wary. However, the blood flowing through her body recognized its Master.
The existence before her was the absolute predator. To defy him meant death. No, she could not defy him.
Her cells were screaming obedience from the molecular level.
“Good girl. There's nothing to be afraid of.”
Akira’s red eyes locked onto Nezuko’s pupils.
“You belong to me now. Tanjiro abandoned you. Or rather, I bought you. I paid a very high price, you see.”
Nezuko did not understand the meaning of those words. She merely huddled like a puppy with its tail between its legs, suppressed by the overwhelming aura of dominance emanating from the man before her.
Unable to speak, she could only let out a low growling sound from her throat.
Slide.
At that moment, the door opened and Mitsuri entered. In her hands, she carried a bowl with red steam rising from it.
“Oh my, is our youngest awake? Are you hungry?”
Mitsuri approached with a beaming smile. Contained in the bowl was Benienma’s special porridge, mixed with human blood.
“Mmph...! Mmph!”
Nezuko’s nose twitched. Intense hunger overrode her fear.
As Mitsuri held out a spoon, Nezuko thrust her head forward while still gagged, panting like an animal.
“Oh dear, I have to take the gag off for you to eat. Akira-san, please undo it.”
With a gesture from Akira, the leather gag covering Nezuko's mouth was released.
Immediately, Nezuko buried her face in the bowl in Mitsuri’s hands and swallowed the porridge as if possessed by a gluttonous spirit.
“Fufu, you’re eating well. Eat slowly, or you’ll get indigestion.”
Akira gently patted the back of the hungrily eating Nezuko.
As her stomach was filled, the look in Nezuko's eyes softened slightly. She instinctively began to rub her head against the man who gave her food and stroked her hair.
Just like a pet following its master.
Meanwhile, in the grand banquet hall of Mugenrou. Under brilliant lighting, the courtesans of Mugenrou were gathered.
Among them were Tengen’s wives: Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma.
Instead of their shinobi outfits, they wore thin courtesan robes that clearly showed their skin, and their eyes, heavy with thick makeup, lacked vitality.
Or rather, to be precise, they were filled with a murky vitality steeped in loyalty and pleasure.
“Oh? I heard a new girl joined us?”
Suma giggled, fluttering her fan.
Around her neck was a choker engraved with the emblem of the Akatsuki.
“Yeah, they said she's the demon sister of a Demon Slayer. She looks cute. And I heard Tengen-sama came today too?”
Makio replied languidly while smoking a long pipe.
The boisterousness of her past had vanished from her tone, leaving only a dripping sense of seduction.
“Tengen-sama... Fufu, it's been a while since I heard that name.”
Hinatsuru tilted her sake cup with a dreamy gaze.
“How pitiful. To try and challenge our Master. But it's a relief that Master was merciful and let him go alive. If he hadn't... we might have had to be the ones to take Tengen-sama's head ourselves.”
Suma and Makio nodded simultaneously at Hinatsuru’s words.
Their thought processes were already perfectly remodeled. Tengen was merely a master from the past. Their only god now was Akira.
They were loyal dolls who would not hesitate to plunge a knife into Tengen’s heart if Akira commanded it.
It was the brand carved into the slaves so that they would never even dream of betrayal.
Slide~
The door opened and Tamamo entered, covering her mouth with her fan alongside Daki. Following them was Koinatsu, with a vacant expression.
“Now, everyone, pay attention. Here is the youngest who joined us today. Koinatsu, who was once the flower of the Tokitoya. You all know her, right?”
At Tamamo’s introduction, the three women's eyes sparkled.
“Oh my! It's Oiran Koinatsu? You finally came~.”
“Welcome! This place is paradise. There is no pain, and no difficult missions. You just have to please the Master.”
Suma ran over to Koinatsu and linked arms with her.
Koinatsu had a confused expression as if her brainwashing wasn't quite complete, but her pupils were also gradually being dyed the color of Akira.
“Now, today is a special day, so we must prepare a banquet. By the time the Master finishes educating Nezuko and comes down, make sure the finest table of drinks is ready.”
At Tamamo’s instructions, Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma bowed their heads in unison.
“We shall do as you command, Tamamo-sama.”
Their smiles were beautiful, but there was no longer a human sense of self within them.
In the giant cage known as the Infinity Castle, they had become happy canaries singing for the King of the Night.
The low growl of the beast (Nezuko) coming from the upper floor, and the laughter of the fallen courtesans echoing from the lower floor.
This was truly a paradise of decadence.
And at its center sat Shuten, reclining and drinking.
“A shame. I don't get a turn?”
Because Akira had stepped out himself, Shuten had not had a turn.
She yawned and looked down at her sake cup. A red sake bowl containing transparent liquor.
In the sake, the image of the Yoshiwara streets was reflected.
The sight of a despairing Tengen and Tanjiro's group.
And other Hashira who had come upon hearing the news to support Tengen.
“So, you let them get away.”
It was the Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro.
And also.
“It's a shame you let them go. That's why Oyakata-sama told you not to mess with the Akatsuki Trading Company recklessly, Uzui-san.”
It was the Flower Hashira, Nagao Kanao.
